Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and managing the full life cycle transaction process of acquisitions & dispositions
  • Managing external service providers, such as consultants, brokers and bankers.
  • Reviewing critical dates, evaluating contract options, and legal oversight.
  • Marketing oversight of the transaction process.
  • Sourcing, analyzing, negotiating deal flow.
  • Creating strategic long-term plans to achieve goals.
  • Source opportunities using underwriting software

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in multifamily real estate.
  • Thorough understanding of the legal transaction process and contract negotiation.
  • Deep understanding of commercial multifamily debt products and the process in obtaining them
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently multi-task with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, decision-making and follow-up skills
  • Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision.

We are seeking a Director of Investor Education to join our team! You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Nighthawk’s high net worth investor pool.

Responsibilities:
• Build strong ongoing relationships with investors, both existing and prospective, and attracting long-term capital
• Collaborating with team members to develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Attending and participating in industry workshops and sponsored events.
• Support broader customer-facing marketing initiatives including implementing strategic content creation ideas, email communication and other marketing projects.
• Proactively monitor market trends, peer businesses and other factors that may impact investor interest/stock movement; summarize analyst research reports and share insights with management;
• Tracking activity with potential and current team members, in contact management database

Requirements:
• Must have general knowledge of how multifamily real estate investments and syndications work
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• +/- 3 years of Commercial Real Estate experience ideally in investor relations, asset management, investments, or portfolio management
• Undergraduate degree is required, preferably with a focus in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or other relevant subject matter
• Understanding of underwriting and investment concepts and the ability to apply concepts
• Must understand equity structuring inside of a capital stack related to multifamily deals
• Advanced financial and analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

We are seeking a Construction Administrator to join our team! You will assist the Construction Renovation Team in the management and execution of multiple projects simultaneously in a multi-state environment. This is a primarily remote position where you would travel to the sites occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist construction managers with the preparation of renovation scopes and contracts.
  • Process invoices after approvals and process billing as needed. Track costs on

individual units.

  • Direct subcontractor, vendor, and supplier process by assembling bid packages

including scope of work, bidding process, and needed construction documents

  • Track distribution of renovation documents (contracts, change orders, lien

waivers, work orders, punch lists etc.)

  • Maintain accurate work logs of construction activities, job information sheets, and

project vendor rosters

  • Assist with creating, arranging, and tracking project renovation schedules.
  • Communicate with vendors concerning required needs (Vendorply, invoices,

bids, estimates, etc.).

  • Maintain weekly reports to ensure accuracy (Payable Report, Monday.com,

schedules).

  • Assemble the unit closeout package including maintenance agreements,

equipment information, warranties, and vendor / supplier contact information

Qualifications:

  • Background in construction desired
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently multi-task with a sense of urgency.

Objectives of this role

  • Provide comprehensive financial updates to ownership by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
  • Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
  • Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions

  • Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies

Responsibilities

Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures

Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis

Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation

Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows

Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity

Required skills and qualifications

  • Ten or more years of professional accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
  • Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
  • Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes
  • Exemplary history of financial project management

Preferred skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field

Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager

Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant)
